JSON Viewer Online
Browse nested objects and arrays in a collapsible tree. Search keys and values while keeping JSON format processing local.
Your JSON is processed locally in your browser and is never uploaded to our server.
Input
Tree view
Paste or upload valid JSON to explore the tree.
Inspect JSON structure visually
Tree view is ideal when formatted text is still hard to scan. Expand nodes, search for keys, and understand complex JSON format without sending data to a server.
Paste large API responses or config files, then expand only the branches you care about. Virtualized rendering keeps big trees responsive.
- Collapsible objects and arrays
- Search across keys and values
- Expand all / collapse all controls
Tree view earns its keep once nesting goes a few levels deep — a typical REST response like {"data":{"users":[{"id":1,"roles":["admin","editor"]}]}} reads as a wall of brackets in text form, but expands into data → users[0] → rolesas a browsable path in the tree, making it obvious which array index or key holds the value you're chasing. Note that JSON objects have no guaranteed key order per RFC 8259 — most parsers preserve insertion order in practice, but don't rely on it for logic that matters.

JSON Viewer FAQ
- What is a JSON viewer / tree view?
- A JSON viewer shows objects and arrays as a collapsible tree so you can expand nodes, scan keys, and explore nested structure more easily than raw text.
- Can I paste JSON to explore the tree?
- Yes. Paste or type valid JSON in the input panel—the tree updates automatically. You can also upload a .json file or press Ctrl+Enter to refresh.
- Can I search inside the JSON tree?
- Yes. Use the search box above the tree to highlight matching keys and values while browsing large documents.
- Is viewer data uploaded to a server?
- No. Parsing and tree rendering run locally in your browser. We do not upload your JSON for the public viewer tool.
